Late post: Unboxing my March 2013 Glamourbox

And the late unboxing posts continues.. :D 

Hey hey beauties! :) In this post, Imma share with you my thoughts on my March Glamourbox. If you wanna know my first time experience on Glamourbox and you also wanna know if it's a "worth it" box then scroll down a bit. ;D

ooopss! Before that, check out my post about monthly subscription services & sampling sites to give you an idea just what this "unboxing posts" means. ;)

The first time I've heard of Glamourbox is when Laureen Uy featured their November box in her blog -BreakmyStyle.com (cool blog by the way, you should check it out!but wait, who doesn't know her blog right?:D) Anyway, after seeing the items, I got really curious and interested and so I visited Glamourbox site. At that moment, I wasn't really sure if I wanna subscribe so I waited for few months and I kinda stalked some bloggers (LOL) to know their experiences on each month's box.  Until last month, I finally decided to subscribe! yey me! :D

So here it is:

The Box

I really love how the Glamourbox team put effort on making the box sophisticated, sturdy and safe during transit. First off, Glamourbox has the biggest box on all subscription boxes that I got and it's also sturdy which means, this one is great for storing your things afterwards. I guess with Glamourbox, nothing will go to waste even their box. hehe..And that's good thing! :) When I received it, the box is housed in another cardboard box to make sure that Glambabes (yeah that's how they call their subscribers.sexy!) will enjoy a beautiful, "scratch-free", intact, clean white box. oh yeah I just had to mention that because I really love the box! :D I actually use it now in storing my sheet masks. (did I mention I'm a sheet mask hoarder?)

On to the samples! (with quick review)

Eye of Horus Natural Smokey Eye Pencil

Of all the samples in the box, I'm most excited with this one. Why? Because it's full size baby! :D And the full size cost a whopping 960 bucks! Guess already got my money's worth with this one. ;) Then again, when I checked out the 'quantity' of the pencil, I had my eyebrow raised. I was like, "Really? This item cost that much?" hmmm...This pencil has two ends/sides..one is a smudger and the other one is the liner itself. The liner has a limited quantity. I would say, using it more often would only last a month or maybe less than that. I don't think I would pay that much for an eye liner that has very little content. But I must say that it's very pigmented- one swipe is enough. No worries, will post a detailed review soon.

Pevonia Gentle Exfoliating Cleanser

Yes, people! I've listed the price right. ;D I had a second look with this one too! I actually stared at it for few seconds and said to myself "This must be an amazing exfoliator for costing this much!!" I haven't tried it though but will let all of you guys know as soon as I've tried this sample. Because of the price, I'm really curious how this exfoliator works on my skin.hehe..And oh! The scent is nice. It has a soap-like flowery-like scent. That sounds confusing eh? :D Pevonia is actually a new brand to me. This is the beauty of subscription boxes, it gives us the chance to try things new. :)

Avon Skin So Soft Glutathione Whitening Renewal Hand & Body Lotion

I'm happy to see a new & improved formula of Avon's SSS lotion. I was never a fan of this lotion but my mom loves it. Way back in highschool, my mom buys everything for me and so I have no choice but to use her ever favorite Avon SSS lotion next to Skin Whitening lotion.lol.She actually bought a full size even before this box arrived. The old formula of this one is actually nice. Moisturizes well and has a sweet scent. I couldn't say much for its lightening effect but maybe this improved formula works better? I don't know..I'm not sure..I would love to try this one but I'm not really into whitening lotion now especially that it's summer. I gave these away to my friend including the ones that I got from March Saladbox. So sorry guys, there would be no review for this one. (would be nice if they included sunscreen..in April box maybe?)

Yves SaintLaurent Saharienne Eau de Toilette

It smells.....nice!? :D Honestly, I don't know how to describe a perfume's scent. After all  I'm not a perfumer. haha! But really, I actually don't use perfume that much. I'm comfortable wearing my cologne. Other reason that I don't wear perfume is that, it costs much. I only wear one if it's given to me or if my mom has a perfume that passed my nose test.lol. But this one really smells nice. I also love that the sample is a little spray bottle unlike those tiny vials that's hard to use.

Ralph Lauren Big Pony 3

yey! Another perfume sample! :) I'm not excited with the scent of these perfumes (because I'm sure it would smell nice or sometimes, I don't really use them) but I'm more excited with the cute bottles. Because of having to receive perfume samples, it gave me this idea of collecting sample size/mini size perfumes! hehe..Weird right? I actually have some series of weird collections like Pooh collectibles, cards (debit,credit,suki cards,membership cards etc.lol!),pocketbooks, perfume bottles(full size ones)..and the counting continues.. ;D I'm such a weirdo! Anyway, yes this one smells nice. I already know Ralph Lauren before and I know that everyone knows their perfumes are must buy! ;)

Heynature Aqua Brightening Gel

Sample: 1 small sachet

This a Korean skincare product. This is supposed to be added into your skincare routine. I haven't tried this one but will post a review soon. I can't describe how the gel looks like or how it smells because I want to open it only on the day where I would test it. So watch out for review guys! ;)

Heynature BB creams

Full size: 40g/PhP1,300

Sample: 4 sachets in different variants

Another Heynature sample and this time, it's a BB cream! :) Make that BB "creams". Glamourbox actually included 4 different variants. This is actually an advantage for me because I'm on a hunt for a "good" BB cream and with this, I get to try different BB creams! Again, I haven't tried any of these but will let you know and will post reviews for these babies soon! ;)

I'm not really into coupons because sometimes they have a minimum purchase before you can avail the discount. Glad this one doesn't have a limit although I can't use the SureSlim because I don't reside in Metro Manila. I just wish that Glamourbox would include different coupon for provincial subscribers. What do you think Glamourbox? :D

Final thoughts:

I've seen Glamourbox' previous boxes and I must admit that the items now compared before we're a little so-so. Just like what other bloggers said, Glamourbox started really "glamorous" that subscribers has more and more expectations each month. Nevertheless, I subscribed again to their April box and I'm hoping it's also a good one (or even better?). For the March box, I can't say I have received a "poor" box compared to March Saladbox (bohoo!) but I wished it had more full size items besides the eye liner. :)

Is it worth the PhP595 subscription fee?Sure. ;D

Would I recommend Glamourbox?YES.

Would I subscribe again? YES.I just did.
