Pinay on the Loose: Used Abused & Reviewed: Royale Beauty Kojic Papaya Soap

Hey PL pretties! Last month, I got two soaps from a well-established company - Royale Beauty! In this post, I will share my thoughts on one of their popular soap - the Royale Beauty Kojic Papaya soap! Keep reading to know how this soap fared on my skin!

Moisturizes and lightens the skin, has mild peeling effect!

When it comes to "beauty" soaps, I always have two things in mind: lightening effect and moisturizing power. I'm not into anti-aging soaps...FOR NOW..oooh scary! :D Anyway, these two doesn't come in equal part in one soap. Sometimes a soap gives a superb hydration power but doesn't really lightens your skin. Take for example, the Moringa 02 Malunggay Herbal soap that I reviewed HERE. Or sometimes, a product whitens but lacks the hydration power. It's considerable though. There's no such thing as perfect product and if there is, it only means it's EXPENSIVE. Not on our budget. Do you agree Pinays? Alright, my point? Well, I have found that two components in this soap.Yep! But wait, don't give yourself too much expectations though.tehee..

When it comes to lightening/whitening products, I really trust the power of Kojic and Papaya formula. I've tried different whitening products but only Kojic & Papaya gives much difference on my skin compared to gluta soaps,lemons extracts etc.. As I've mentioned in some of my post, I try to switch my beauty products as much as possible to find one that suits my skin needs. One specific Kojic soap that I've loved is the Kojie San but not until I met this soap. The thing is, Kojie San melts easily but not this soap. That's what I love most about this.. Kojie San may be priced lower/cheaper but 1 Royale Beauty Kojic Papaya Soap is actually equal to 3 Kojie San soap.I'm not kidding! Kojie San melts so crazily fast! I mean Kojie San is effective but when you find a soap that's even more effective and thrice the value, why stick to the old one right? ;)

For the effect, I can say that after 1 week of using this soap, I can already see a difference on my skin. It is lighter and much radiant.(maybe because of the mild peeling effect). Our skin needs time to process those formulations though so the effect will take time to see. It's also not as drying as other soaps of the same variant which for me is a big plus. Overall, I'm happy with this soap! ^____^

Packaging wise, this is so much better! It has high-end feel/classy looking because of the hard plastic that in-houses the soap itself. Much like the packaging of Metathione. As for the soap, it is of orange color of course, just like any other kojic-papaya soaps. And this one is wrapped in a plastic (with Royale Beauty prints) so you'll know that it is clean and sealed.

The manufacturing and expiration date is printed clearly.

Always check the ingredients if you have a sensitive skin! ;)

Directions:Use kojic papaya soap all over the body for bathing, lather well, rinse thoroughly and moisturize.

My VERDICT:

Pros

I so love the high-end feel and carefully sealed packaging!

Has the benefits of Kojic and Papaya in one

Cleansing properties is superb!

Lathers up quickly

Keeps my face pimple free (except that time of the month)

You'll feel a more radiant skin after every bath

Doesn't melt quickly like most Papaya and Kojic soaps do

Gives a slight peeling so you'll know that it really gets rid of dead skin cells

Not as drying as other papaya and kojic soaps do

Cons

It has nice scent but doesn't linger for long (which is considerable)

Whitening effect may take time but one soap is enough to see the difference (continuous use will definitely give you fairer and more radiant skin)

Moisturizing effect may not be enough to those who have very dry skin.Make sure to moisturize after.

Maybe a bit pricey to some (this is no big deal to me as this doesn't melt easily unlike other Kojic/Papaya soaps.)

Do I recommend it?

I definitely recommend this to you! But if you have like "super" dry skin, you really have to moisturize after using this.

Final thoughts:

I love this soap! I love the idea of formulating Kojic and Papaya in one and I love that this does not melt easily. Kojic/Papaya soaps gives immediate whitening effect on my skin compared to gluta soaps which takes longer time for me to see the difference, that's why I like to try on different Kojic/Papaya soaps.Thank you so much Royale Beauty team! I now have a new Kojic soap to maintain on my bathing routine. :D

*When using any whitening soap, make sure to apply twice as much on your body than on your face. This is to avoid uneven skin tone. You don't want to look like you just poured a whole lot of white makeup on your face, do you? Do I make sense? :D
