Used Abused & Reviewed: White Result Exfoliating Gel

Hey there "PL Pretties"! Can you believe it's already the start of "Ber" months? Time flies so fast huh? My Facebook timeline is actually flooded with "September be good to me", "Happy Ber months!" and "Wake me up when September ends." statuses! I feel your ber-spirit people. ^_^ (wow what a word!) Anyway, here in my online journal, I want to start September with a skincare review. Well, we all want that radiant and healthy-looking skin when holiday hits us right? And that's what I want to focus this coming months. I want to post more Skincare tips and DIYs for your guys. Of course, my cosmetic reviews will still be up every now and then. Alright, on to the review!

White Result Exfoliating Gel
from Tupperware brand
50g/Php599
Bought from: SampleRoom at only 95 points (with Php130 shipping fee)

A bit of info from Sampleroom:

White Result Exfoliating Gel is a 3 in 1 product that whitens, moisturizes and exfoliates skin in the gentlest way.

Infused with natural ingredients B-White, Aquarich and Multifruit BSC, the Exfoliating Gel will leave your skin instantly brighter, smoother, deeply hydrated, and free from impurities and blackheads in just one use. It is also perfect to use on other parts of the body such as the neck, armpits, elbows, back and knees, having visible results almost instantly.

In my past blog posts, I reviewed two of my favorite exfoliator (Click HERE  and HERE to read them) and they're my favorite mainly because of three reasons: they exfoliate well, very affordable and available locally. But gone are the days that I maintain a specific product for a long period of time. I learned that switching my skincare products every now and then will help me determine which suits best for my skin and which gives the best performance. So even though I'm satisfied with the exfoliator that I'm using, I know in my mind that I just gotta try something new. That's when I found CURE Exfoliating Gel sampled at Sample Room. Boy, it was the best exfoliator I've tried! It's a gel based exfoliator that gets rid of dead skin cells without being harsh to your skin. I've only tried the samples and I'm now saving up for the big bottle. Yep, it's a bit pricey.

Luckily, Sample Room introduced us ladies to a cheaper version of CURE and that is the White Result Exfoliating Gel from Tupperware brand. It's basically the same thing with CURE. It's a gel based exfoliator with natural ingredients and has brightening agents to whiten your skin after several times of usage. But since I've used CURE, I can't help but compare the two. CURE has thicker consistency while White Result is watery. With White Result, you have to rub a few times before you can feel the dead skin coming out but with CURE, 1-2 rub is enough for you to get rid of the dirt/dead skin cells. But both have the same effect after bath, your skin would look and feel radiant, healthy and supple. And yes! You feel squeaky clean!

The box of the product and the squeezie tube itself has all the basic information you need. From product info/claims, ingredients to company info down to manufacturing dates and numbers. All is printed clearly.

The packaging is a white plastic squeezable tube. It doesn't have a nozzle so the product dispenses right way (considering that the gel is watery) so you'd expect a product wastage. I really wasted a few amounts of the content when I first opened it so what I did with the next one is that I opened the tube upward not downward (the usual way of opening) and then I gently positioned the tube sideways with my palm next to it and finally, I just let the gel slide out of the tube directly to my palm. I don't squeeze because that would dispense a whole lot of product. As I said, the gel's consistency is "watery".

White Result Exfoliating Gel in action!! (ugh gross!)

My VERDICT:

Pros

Has skin benefits brought by natural ingredients
Cleansing/exfoliating properties is great
Exfoliation is very gentle on skin
You'll feel a more radiant and supple skin after every bath
Can be an alternative if you can't afford CURE Exfoliating Gel

Cons

Gel is too watery.
Scent for me is just too strong
Whitening/Brightening effect may take time
Moisturizing effect is so-so.My skin felt a little dry after using it.
You have to rub and wait a few seconds before you can see dead skin visible.
A bit pricey for the content given

How much?

50g - Php599

Do I recommend it?

I definitely recommend this to you! But if you have dry skin, never forget to apply some lotion after bath or don't exfoliate too much.

Repurchase?

Undecided.

Where to buy?

Find a Tupperware dealer in your area. You can order this from them.

Final thoughts:

As I've said above, this product is just too pricey for me and you only get little content(the gel itself). hmm Okay...not really little but it's not enough. I feel like it's still a good deal if I buy CURE because it has loads of content plus it's very effective. But it won't be fair comparing these two products so overall, this a good exfoliating gel. Can be considered as an alternative if you can't afford CURE.

I'd give it a:
